Carmen: Honestly.. to give him that much power would only increase the jolly.. if this terrifies you now, imagine if he increased the holiday spirit.. which would feed his condition, which would make him feel the need to increase more christmas spirit.. he knows this. He not exactly fears it.. but he knows if he did so, there would not be a world left to cause mayhem. The balance would topple. I keep him inside most of the time, every so often I let him out to do his job but he says theres some other agents of mayhem out there to help him keep balance, not many but some.

Carmen: What you need is soup and rest. The jolly is your version of the flu.. you know this. Its the overflow of the christmas spirit in people. You fight it every year.
Marehem: Its very commercialized.. but thats how it spreads.. does the tree need more ornaments??
Carmen: The tree is begging for a quick death because of it having too many ornaments…
